Exotics
Rachel Mowbray, BVSc, MRCVSThe exotic species at Vale referrals are seen by Rachel Mowbray. Rachel became interested in treating more unusual species while volunteering for Bristol Zoo during her time at university. She now keeps a variety of exotic species herself. Her special interests include any type of reptiles, small mammals and poultry. We have hospitalisation facilites for a wide range of species and facilities for diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia and surgery of reptiles, small mammals and birds, and two nurses with a special interest in nursing exotics. We can provide clients with written or verbal information about care of their exotic pets and offer tortoise pre and post hibernation check up evenings in spring and autumn. Our prices are very competitive, and we are happy to provide an estimate before treatment if required. Please feel free to ring for advice on any exotic cases. |
