DermatologyAiden Foster, BVSc, BSc, PhD, DipACVD, CertSAD, MRCVSWe specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, ear and nail diseases in domestic animals, largely dogs and cats. This will include allergies and chronic skin conditions and our diagnostic tests include intradermal testing for allergen-specific immunotherapy, cytology, histopathology and cultures. Referral cases usually have an initial visit for one hour and may have follow up visits depending upon the nature of the skin disease. A written report will follow a visit and this is usually shared with the owner so the recommendations can be discussed with the referring vet. Most cases of skin disease are somewhat chronic in nature and require management rather than cure. Urgent cases with severe skin disease may merit early discussion with Aiden before arranging an appointment. |
