Rachel Mowbray

Rachel has been at Vale Vets since 2002 and carries out most of the work on more unusual pets, such as snakes, tortoises, iguanas, chickens and ducks. At home, Rachel has a staggering 24 pets including three skunks called Peanut, Freddie and Flossy and a Border Terrier called Nutmeg. who Rachel and Nutmeg recently won a bronze medal in the Agility World Championships in Helskinki for Great Britain; Rachel was both a competitor and team vet. Rachel has a huge wealth of experience and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of exotic species. She is also studying for a postgraduate qualification in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
